HOW NISSAN IS PAYING YOU TO CARPOOL

We all know carpooling is a smart thing to do, especially in Southern California. How many times have you been stuck in traffic on the 10 and watched the carpool lane flying by? Well Nissan and start-up Hytch have teamed up to get you driving around with a buddy. Simply put, Hytch is a carpooling incentive program. You can read more about them on their website, but essentially you will be getting paid to carpool. By using GPS tracking, Hytch will pay drivers and riders $.05 per mile driven. Where does Nissan enter into this? They are a premier sponsor of the program which is why it is starting at Nissan's US home of Nashville.
